Have you ever walked behind a waterfall?
If you know you know!
To mark Organ Donation Week this September we are organsing a special fundraising challenge which includes a guided trek through waterfall country!
Waterfall country or Ystradfellte is always a magical place to visit, no matter the weather (it may even be better in the rain). At the southern end of the western Beacons, Ystradfellte is a lush, wooded area that is home to some of the most picturesque waterfalls in Wales. Including Sgwd yr Eira (Fall of Snow), a stunning waterfall you can actually walk behind.
The trek will be approximately 15 Kilometres and will take place between 8.45am and 3pm with planned breaks and lunch stops, on Sunday, September 25th.
The walk will be fully guided by the experienced team at JT Expeditions. A kit list will be provided prior to the walk, ensuring you have everything you need to make the event as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
The cost to take part is £30 per person which covers the organisation of the event, and we ask that if you can help continue supporting our Kidney Community here in Wales by raising a minimum of £50. All walkers will receive a Kidney Wales Walk for Life Tshirt to wear on the day, and a finishers medal.
