We have an exciting new challenge for 2021 which we’d love you to be part of! Following the success of our Walk around Wales a few years ago marking Kidney Wales 50th birthday, we’d love you to join us for our virtual Taith Dros Gymru!
Help unite our kidney community throughout 2021 by taking on a 531 mile tour of Wales virtually visiting each of the 18 dialysis units across the country.
We know 531 miles is a challenge, but how you complete the challenge is up to you! You can walk, jog or cycle the distance and you have a full year to complete the challenge. That is 1.5 miles a day, 5,000 steps each day across the year and you will have succeeded and completed the challenge.
If you would prefer, you can team up with family members, friends or colleagues to achieve the distance as a group. A great way to keep your family connected whilst we continue to face social distancing restrictions.
The cost to enter is £20 per person, your entry fee will include a Kidney Wales face covering, fundraising pack, the full support of the Kidney Wales team in taking on your virtual challenge as well as a bespoke Taith dros Gymru medal to celebrate your incredible achievements upon completion of the challenge.
The challenge will begin on World Kidney Day 2021 Thursday 11th of March, and will end on 11th of March 2022.
This certainly is an almighty challenge, If you feel you are able to gain support from friends and family as you take on the challenge please consider collecting donations on behalf of Kidney Wales throughout your virtual journey.
