Especially given current circumstances, it is important to stay connected. This is why for the second year running we have decided to make our tea party fundraising event virtual. In the face of the pandemic, once again physical tea parties may not be able to go ahead as previously seen, but we will not let that ruin the fun! These activities are crucial in helping us fundraise, allowing us to continue providing life changing work for our patients. Therefore, your support is more vital than ever in helping us to carry on providing our services for kidney patients and their families.

This year’s virtual tea party will be held alongside World Kidney Day, which is on Thursday March 11th, but you can hold your tea party when it is most convenient for you. This could be with your immediate family at home, with your work colleagues or a zoom call with some loved ones, invite them to join for a cuppa and cake whilst supporting Kidney Wales by making a donation. Bringing people together in most unusual circumstances will provide a much needed boost.
Once again we have teamed up with Glengettie Tea, a Welsh favourite for a long time, who are helping to support this fundraising endeavour.

Please join in to help us raise funds which is vital in continuing to support and guide patients, families, and other members of the kidney community during these extraordinary times. Don’t forget to let us know so we can give you a shout out!

Get involved by contacting the team at team@kidneywales.cymru or give us a call at 02920 343940.
