We are delighted to announce that Jamie Baulch has joined Kidney Wales as a patron marking our 50th year.  Jamie has been highly involved with Kidney Wales over the years particularly supporting our annual Cardiff 10K and 2K races, as well as helping us launch our Bring a £1 to work day.

Jamie enjoyed 15 fantastic years at the top of world class athletics.  Famously known as a British sprint athlete has won many medals throughout his career representing the UK and Wales at numerous Olympic Games, World Championships, and Commonwealth Games.

Since his retirement from Athletics in 2005, he has starred in several reality TV shows and directed various business ventures including the Jamie Baulch Academy and WRU Memorabilia, Jaguar Academy of Sport and Call Bruce.

‘I’m pleased to be working with such an enthusiastic and dedicated team at Kidney Wales.  The work that they do supporting families of Kidney patients in Wales is truly humbling and I’m honoured to be involved as they begin their 50 year celebration.    I’m very much looking forward to the development of the Cardiff 10K and 2K events, for which they have ambitious plans for 2017 and beyond’.
