The Welsh Kidney Research Unit is leading a research study, pregnancy choices with kidney disease – to learn more about women’s experiences of kidney disease, decisions about having children and their experiences of pregnancy and having children.
Findings will help us develop new shared decision making tools to help better support women with the sometimes complicated and emotional decisions they may need to make about having children.
Taking part involves completing an online survey, with option to share details for a potential follow up interview.   See attached poster Welsh Version English Version
To be eligible for inclusion in the study, you must be female, diagnosed with kidney disease aged 18-50, living in the UK.  However as always we are keen to involve ANY patients and professionals who are interested.  This can be via advising, sitting on steering committees, sharing knowledge or just generally wanting to know more.  We encourage you to get in touch!
